BREAKING NEWS:
The following video has been sent to us courtesy of the NWA.com digital media team:
"There’s a little saying that I’ve kept to myself for some years now. 'If you are living a life with no goals, with no purpose, and you can’t prove that you’re the best damn wrestler out there, that is when it’s time to hang ‘em up.'
That’s why I’m here in the NWA.
When you take away the smoke, when you take away the lights, and the music…what do you have left? Do you still have the Phenom? The man who collected souls and dug holes his entire career, straight to the top? Or are you simple looking at a parody of the man who said he’d live forever because he was already dead?
Don’t get me wrong. Those things are considered legendary in this business and I understand that, that's not lost on me. I’ve nearly killed myself for decades and have suspended disbelief each and every time I stepped on that big stage.
But when you take it all away, what’s left?
The only way I can answer that question for you - and for me - is to say this. If I don’t win the NWA World Heavyweight Title within the next six months…then I think it’s safe to say that this really HAS been…the last ride for The Undertaker."

NWA News and Rumors June 27 2020
- Billy Corgan is said to be pleased with the enactment of the GWA. As a result of the GWA, Corgan has been able to score several big names in the wrestling industry such as The Undertaker, Kazuchika Okada, Rusev, and Samoa Joe. As announced earlier, The Undertaker has plans to pursue and win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship or retire within the next six months.
- Speaking of the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, today is Bray Wyatt's six month anniversary of winning the most historic world championship in professional wrestling history. Wyatt joined the NWA just several months before winning the championship after dominating the NWA roster to the top.
- Jax Dane is said to be frustrated with the GWA enactment. Dane, a former world champion in the National Wrestling Alliance, feels that the "dignity" and "history" of the NWA will be compromised by top talents whose names are synonymous with other promotions.
- As previously announced, the NWA have acquired The Inner Circle's contracts from (then) Impact Wrestling. Rumors suggest that we may see a new side of Chris Jericho we've never seen.

The following video was sent to us by the digital media team at NationalWrestlingAlliance.com:
"Hello ladies and germs, my name is 'Outlandish' Zicky Dice. You may know me from my incredibly successful morning talk show Morning Wood, or from my super amazing live stream series, What's In The Fanny Pack? Well today, I'm here for a more serious matter.
Lions, and tigers.
We all know them. We all love them. With their unbridled passion and determination to graze the wild, their spirits are something we should all aspire to carry. But guess who doesn't have a Lion's spirit? The current fluke NWA Television Champion, 'Stroke Daddy' Ricky Starks. Ricky, instead of being a lame poser, you should channel your inner lion. I guess that's hard when you're just a lame-ass. A silly little boy who's nothing more than a baby tiger!
But me? I am one with the lion, Ricky. Lion's are CHAMPIONS, RICKY! Look at these animals behind me. Lion versus tiger. Who wins? THE LION. You may have gotten lucky on Power, but your lucks running out! Sooner than later, me and all my Dice-Iples will celebrate when I beat you for that TV Title.
Because I'm a lion, Ricky."This Advertisement Is Sponsored By The National Foundation Of Outlandish Lions & Fanny Pack Preservation Society.

NWA News and Rumors July 4, 2020
- Rumors are swirling around that NWA Owner and President William Patrick Corgan may announce how he intends to fill the vacant NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion on the next episode of Power.
- Speaking of the next episode, we are hearing rumors that a former NWA legend may be making an appearance on Power. There are also other several surprises set for the next few weeks of Power, but we cannot confirm them at this time.
- Although absent from NWA TV for the last several weeks, it appears "The Murderhawk Monster" Lance Archer may be getting involved in the main event scene in the NWA. The six-foot-nine native of Dallas, Texas is said to be "fully committed" to the NWA brand.
- Bray Wyatt's status in the NWA is said to be an interesting conversation backstage, according to multiple sources. While some talent seems to be under the impression that Bray is just taking time off, others seem to believe that Bray is finished in the NWA after an impressive NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship run. We have been unable to secure confirmation of Wyatt's NWA status, but others seem to believe there may have been a contract dispute between Corgan and Wyatt that led to his exit from the company.
- We can confirm that Bully Ray will be taking on NWA National Champion Apollo Crews on the next episode of Power. Samoa Joe recently secured a victory over Crews, all but confirming that Joe will be getting a National Title opportunity against Crews in the future.

NWA News and Rumors July 19, 2020
- Rumors have been swirling that the NWA may be adding a women's division to its roster. There is said to be a big push backstage for adding a female division, and Billy Corgan is "more than open" to the idea so long as the division is "legitimate."
- The NWA has been doing well for itself in gaining interest from new and lapsed fans. Strong numbers for NWA Power have led Corgan and the NWA executive team to begin working on plans for an NWA pay-per-view, which is rumored to be the event where a new NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion will be crowned, and where National Champion Apollo Crews will defend the National Championship against Samoa Joe.
- The relationship between the NWA and GPB Studios is said to be "better than after" after having several issues with fans "desecrating the premises" in the past. NWA has set strict guidelines in place for fan conduct who want to attend live NWA events in the studios. Since the enactment of said guidelines, the relationship between the studios and NWA have improved leading many to believe GPB Studios may be the permanent home for the NWA.
- As seen on the latest edition of Power, the legendary George South answered Ricky Starks' open Television Championship challenge. While Zicky Dice has been pleading his case for a TV Title match, the open challenge concept is said to be going nowhere. Rumors suggest that other promotions are reaching out to NWA in hopes they can feature their talent on the show.

The following was sent to NWA.com courtesy of the NWA digital media team:
"It's funny how things work. You can be the guy who has dreams as a kid of these things you want to accomplish. You can spend years training and preparing for your big moment and then when you finally accomplish that goal, you're left with nothing to show for it and it turns out your dream for all those years...was actually a corporate, political nightmare.
They always say "never meet your heroes" and I never understood that until I got my big break in the pro wrestling business. All these fantasies and scenarios that I romanticized in my mind since I was ten years old, I got the chance to LIVE them. But all that glitters is not gold.
I've had to hear it from everyone from friends, to family, to even my fans - 'you're so talented,' 'you deserve so much more,' 'why don't they see what we see?' These questions have been tumbling in my mind for years and no matter how much I try to justify their decisions, I can't.
Because when the lights go down, and when the crowd erupts and I'm in that ring, I KNOW that I am one of the best professional wrestlers in the entire world. Maybe they didn't see it that way...but soon, the NWA faithfuls will because I'm not resting on my laurels anymore. I'm not settling for pity. I'm not settling for 'what ifs!'
I'm not stopping until the entire WORLD knows what I know.
When it comes to professional wrestling, NOBODY does it better. See you soon, NWA."

This morning, an NWA fan tweeted to Chris Jericho that his reaction to Eli Drake drinking his bubbly was "a little irrational" and that Jericho seems a bit uptight lately, possibly "because [he] isn't in the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship Tournament." Below you will find Jericho's reply to the tweet, seemingly making even more enemies in the NWA...

The National Wrestling Alliance Board of Directors recently held a meeting at their headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. During the meeting, it was revealed that NWA President William Patrick Corgan contacted the Board the early last week and officially resigned from the NWA presidency. This was the first contact Mr. Corgan had with the Board since the pay per view.
Upon questioning Mr. Corgan as to his recent whereabouts, Corgan declined to comment.
It is assumed that with these recent developments, the National Wrestling Alliance may be getting ready to operate under new ownership.
More info as we receive it.

BREAKING NEWS: WILLIAM PATRICK CORGAN RESIGNS, PAUL ELLERING PURCHASES THE NWA; MAJOR CHANGES COMING?!
In a shocking turn of events, William Patrick Corgan has officially resigned as President of the NWA and has sold the company to the legendary Paul Ellering. Ellering, a 43 year pro wrestling veteran, is no stranger to the squared circle. Ellering recently made an appearance at Chase For The Gold that left fans scratching their heads.
In a lengthy post from Ellering that we just received, he stated that major changes are on their way for the NWA brand. Ellering also refuted accusations that he had anything to do with Billy Corgan's strange exit at the pay-per-view. The full statement can be read below. We will continue to update you on this breaking development.
Statement from Paul Ellering 10/08/2020
With so much uncertainly surrounding the NWA right now, I wanted to take a few moments to discuss where our future lies. I realize there is a certain tension surrounding the way Chase For The Gold went off the air with my appearance, and then Brodie Lee appearing…and Billy Corgan disappearing. And we’ll get into all that shortly.
First, let me introduce myself. My name is Paul Ellering, and I am a member of the NWA Board of Directors. I’ve been working behind the scenes in the NWA for several years, and it’s not been easy. More on that later.
Let me first address the elephant in the room. Trust me when I say...I had nothing to do with Brodie Lee’s appearance at Chase for the Gold! What occurred was a mere matter of coincidence. I do not know what happened to Billy Corgan when he mysteriously disappeared, nor have I heard from Brodie Lee since the incident. I was just as confused as all of you, but let’s leave the past in the past. That doesn’t matter now.
My words directed at Billy Corgan at the pay per view were a foreshadowing indeed, but I guarantee you I had nothing to do with his disappearance and subsequent resignation from the NWA. I cannot make this any more clear. The perpetrator in this situation seems to be Brodie Lee - and only Brodie Lee - and he will have to answer for his actions.
You may be asking why I said what I said at the show...about Billy Corgan's career coming to an end. There’s been a lot of rumors as of late regarding the status of the NWA. We even had one member of the NWA website negligently state that the NWA may be shutting its doors. I’m sure he’ll appreciate the magnitude of such negligence while standing in the unemployment line.
So, what’s going on in the NWA? Let me tell you.
As a member of the NWA Board of Directors, I appeared at the end of the show to inform Mr. Corgan that the board held a meeting where a vote of no confidence had been placed against Mr. Corgan for his failure to adapt to the current day landscape of the pro wrestling industry! However, Brodie Lee’s appearance and Mr. Corgan’s subsequent disappearance prevented me from doing so.
After speaking with Mr. Corgan earlier this month, he has not only agreed to resign as President of the NWA, but to sell the company to me. Billy came to understand that he wasn’t cut out for this job, and that simply living out his strange childhood fantasies doesn’t make a wrestling company grow and prosper. This is a business. Corgan was relunctact to join the GWA accord despite the Board's warnings. He was never a forward-thinking representative of this brand.
In other words, Billy Corgan was cancer for the NWA. Instead of seeking growth, he wanted to revitalize a dead concept in studio wrestling. He wanted the NWA to be the top promotion, but he was scared to leave Atlanta. You can’t grow a company without stepping outside of your comfort zone. Billy Corgan was a horrible leader - a selfish leader.
And please, stop asking how Mr. Corgan is doing - he sounded just fine on the phone, so all of your concern is unwarranted and baseless.
With that said, I am proud to announce that, as of today, Paul Ellering owns this company and I will usher in a brand new era for the National Wrestling Alliance. More details will follow, but rest assured that the NWA will be undergoing some very, very dramatic changes over the next few months. They are much needed and will ensure the NWA becomes the top promotion in the world because for the last several years this company has been viewed as a joke thanks to our incompetent FORMER CEO, Billy Corgan. No more.
Stay tuned...

NWA News and Rumors 10/11/2020 - With the recent announcement of Paul Ellering become the owner of the NWA, many talents are said to be "concerned" about their roles in the company. The rumor going around is that Ellering has his sights set on doing a "cleansing" of the NWA roster which could mean several wrestlers losing their jobs. Overall, the morale is said to be "pretty low" among the NWA talents as Billy Corgan was described as being a very "well liked" and "hands-on" official. - There is also concern among several wrestlers that Ellering may have the NWA start touring, similar to other major companies. A big part of the appeal for wrestlers to join the NWA was that tapings were always in Atlanta with multiple tapings being done in just one weekend. This allowed talents to get all of their work done over the weekend and enjoy a substantial amount of down time in between tapings. - We have also received inside information that Paul Ellering has reached out to multiple television networks with his vision for what the NWA is going to become. So far, there is said to be "one or two major networks" interested in airing Ellering's version of the NWA, which may be coming sooner than later. - Among the NWA Board of Directors, most are said to be "in support" of Ellering's vision for the company. While talent may not be thrilled with some of the rumors going around, it is believed that Ellering's vision for the NWA brand may very well lead the NWA into being in the top "one or two" companies in the United States.

BREAKING NEWS: NWA POWER'S RETURN CONFIRMED, TV DEAL REACHED?
The NWA has officially announced the return of NWA Power. In a huge step for the NWA, GPB Studios are being abandoned for what appears to be the beginning of a touring schedule for the NWA roster.
NWA Power will return on Tuesday, October 27 live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago. This is a very bold move by the NWA as they have been primarily operating out of the Southern United States for much of their tenure. This is also said to be a risk as the Allstate Arena has a large seating capacity, which has left some wondering if they'll be able to fill all the seats.
Rumors suggest that the NWA have been working with certain statisticians in order to determine the best cities to hold shows. Chicago has been known as a hotbed for wrestling for the last several years.
This may also be evidence that the NWA has secured a major national television deal, and although we have heard rumors suggesting such information, we cannot confirm which network that may be at this time.
