Shane McMahon and The System open the show talking about their dominance. They go over how at No Mercy they pulled the ultimate trick when Shane joined The System. The System goes over how this plan was perfectly planned and nobody can do anything about because Shane McMahon has all the power! He claims that The WWF is 100 percent under his command tonight they show their dominance!
We see a segment with Ted Dibiase speaking about the releasing of Curtis Axel and says he only deals with winners like Scorpio Sky.
The New Day have a fun little promo but it gets broken up by Bret Hart, Benoit and Malenko they say the time for games is over! Bret trashes The New Day and says that this is why The WWF is mockery because of talent like this acting like fools instead of getting it done in the ring. This sets up a match next week with Kofi and Bret!
We get a segment at The Hardy Compound. Broken Matt and Brother Nero are near The River of Reincarnation....Matt begins speaking about the prophecy of becoming the greatest of all time and say they must defeat past champions and they will start at Night of Champions when they defend their titles against arguably the most skilled tag team of all time. The Hart of Kings and The Bulldog from Britain! That's right at Night of Champions! The Hardys defend against Owen Hart and The Bulldog!
MJF asks what challenges does he have left! He has beaten Sami Zayn twice in one week. MJF is demanding a real challenge. He says everybody is doing these open challenges but next week but they all fail in comparison because MJF is undefeated and will continue to stay that way.
We get vignette of a man inside of a bar. A couple bikers straight fighting and bump into this man which causes all hell to break loose. The vignette ends with a glass breaking and shoots to black!
The ending segment comes when They System attack AJ during his match with Roman. Cena tries to help but all that happens is The System beat him down as well. Shane is all smiles as Roman holds up The WWF Championship.
