What is a King? Is it the Best in the World, is it the champion of champions, or is it the man who can go against the odds and show his true greatness in the ring? Tonight 32 men enter the pool of WWF superstars all with one things on their mind… being crowned King of the WWF! What is the prize you ask… well not only the crown, scepter, and cape… but a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at Summerslam. Tonight 32 men enter a random drawing to get teamed with a partner. They must survive their tag team match in order to make it to the final battlefield. 16 men will enter the ring with only one man reigning supreme as the King. Whoever that man is will be on a one way trip to challenge for the WWF Championship at SUMMERSLAM!

Gorilla: Welcome wrestling fans to the King of the Ring! I am Gorilla Monsoon and beside me at this time is Jesse The Body Ventura. Jess, we the lethal lottery tonight but not only that we may just crown a new WWF Champion when Edge challenges Roman Reigns!
Jesse: I respect everything that Edge has done in this business but I just feel like Roman Reigns with the backing of The System is just going to be too much for him.
Gorilla: Well I think that Edge can do it. He just needs to be able to leave this with The System behind and he can become WWF Champion.
Jesse: You act like The System isn't a dangerous group just look at what they caused with Bret Hart and Kurt Angle and now we have new Tag Team Champions.
Gorilla: Well in any event! Tonight, is The Lethal Lottery to crown our WWF King of the Ring! How this will work we have 32 superstars they will be randomly drawn to face off in tag team matches.
Jesse: You could see The Hardys face each other, maybe The Miz and Morrison on seperate teams. The Lethal Lottery is just that Lethal to teams!
Gorilla: Jesse, is correct teams will be drawn at random the winners of those matches will make it to the finals which will be a 16 man over the top battle royal. The last man standing is considered the King of the Ring and will challenge whoever is The WWF Champion at the main event of SummerSlam! Well lets head to the back where Mean Gene is drawing the names!
Mean Gene: Ladies and Gentlemen, it is now time to start drawing the names of the first participants in the King of the Ring Lethal Lottery!

Mean Gene: Ladies and Gentlemen, let's get ready the first two men's names I just pulled are Alister Black and Lance Archer and they will Stan Lane and Matt Hardy!

{Nothing short of some fireworks here in the early going. We got some tag team specialists against Black making his WWF debut and Lance Archer with Gary Hart! The fans are rocking as this Lethal Lottery is showing that it's just that. This match starts with Archer demanding Black to stay away.Matt and Lane look at one another and Lane is telling Matt he will start this match off. Lane though tries fighting Archer but realizes this man is a complete monster! Lane quickly tags out and tells Matt to give a shot. Matt is fighting with all he has but this is just wayyyyy too much of a task. Archer drops a flying Matt with a massive shoulder block and then a Chokeslam! Archer is standing over and throws him in the corner after Lane. Archer is staring right at Lane as Matt is trying to make the tag but Lane drops off the corner and just shakes his head no! Lane leaves Matt Hardy on his own here. Archer grabs Matt and BLACKOUT! 1.....2.....3!!! Archer and Black are moving on. Archer is looking at Black and tells him that's how to do it! Black looks to be impressed but walks away!}
Gorilla: What an impressive team here between Archer and Black! You can't say that Archer isn't a liar he said that Black stood out of his way. Which I am suprised but I guess going into the finale with all your energy was a smart play by Black.
Jesse: Look Gorila, when you are lucky to draw Archer as your partner. You stay out of the way and you will be just fine.

{This is a huge match here. An all star type team against two ring vets! Axel has been a talent that has the look but never the chance. Eaton is just a SOLID worker. You won't outwork Bobby! Sting and Bret though are just on a whole other level! We are seeing a different side of Bret Hart. He is angry! He doesn't really want to team with Sting! They have some miscommunications with Bret getting upset that Sting isn't tagging in and showboating in the words of Bret! Axel and Eaton are able to get the upperhand cause of this! We get some nearfalls for the upset but that is when Bret is able to get a tag and work down Axel! Eaton is trying to interject but Sting puts a stop to him as Bret locks on a Sharpshooter on Axel in the middle of the ring! Axel taps and this all star team is moving on! We get an interesting scene when Sting wants a tag but Bret just looks at him and heads up the ramp! Bret is upset that he thinks Sting almost cost them the chance at the Finale!}

Shane: Well it's look like two men that have put on classic matches are going to be teamed up tonight. AJ Styles will be teaming with Christopher Daniels and they will face Bo Dallas and Wardlow!

Christopher Daniels and AJ Styles vs Wardlow and Bo Dallas
{Wardlow is actually on his own tonight! MJF is taking a step back because he knows that he still has a match. Dallas comes out next as the fans have ZERO reaction for him. This brings out Daniels in his SCU gear and finally AJ Styles making his in ring return! AJ doesn't seem impressed with Daniels and tells him that he needs to ditch this SCU and become the Fallen Angel! Daniels ignores Styles and this match starts! Wardlow shows a tough match up here as he puts on a great showing but he has the handi-cap of Dallas on his team! Wardlow grabs Daniels and throws him into the corner as Dallas tags himself into the match! Wardlow isn't happy here but Dallas raises his thumbs and tells Wardlow "You need to BO-LIEVE!" Wardlow looks confused but as Dallas turns around LARIAT TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD OFF DALLAS! Wardlow heads up the ramp away from his partner. We see AJ Styles meet Wardlow on the ramp and begins having words with him. Wardlow just walks away as Styles turns around to see Daniels grab Dallas and Angel's Wings! 1.....2.....3!!! Styles and Daniels are moving on as the big story is Wardlow walking out on his partner.}
Gorilla: Wardlow showing that MJF's personality is rubbing off on Wardlow. You never turn your back on your partner.
Jesse: Spoken like a man that never had a partner. Listen Gorilla, you think if Adrian pulled a stunt like that. I wouldn't punch his lights out. I don't blame Wardlow. I would have done worse to Bo Dallas if that was my partner.
{We head to the back where Gene is standing in the back with Kurt Angle.}
Gene: I am standing here with Kurt Angle. Last week we saw you and Bret Hart have words. I have to ask do you have anything to say about that.
Kurt: I have to say that last week. I gave Bret a favor. He tried to say that I made phone calls to him. Listen, Bret basically did everything but beg me to be his partner. Last week was not my fault. Bret wanted to come out here and act like he is a superman. Last week he showed that he can't be trusted. The way I see it if Bret Hart ever wants to step into that ring and test his skills against mine. Well, I am free anytime.....well except for SummerSlam cause after I win the King of the Ring tonight. I am going to be busy being WWF World Champion. Oh It's True! It's.......

{Bret Hart comes walking right into scene.}
Bret: Kurt, you want to blame me for losing the titles last week. That wasn't my fault that is your fault. You couldn't pull your own weight which PISSES ME OFF! I already am in The Grand Finale. {This is when Kurt Angle shoves Bret and just walks away. Bret is pissed about this and tells the world he will show Kurt tonight!}
Gene: Fireworks are already showing tonight. Let's go ahead and draw our next opponents. Oh wow! What an interesting match this is going to be. Bray Wyatt and MJF will face John Morrison and his partner will be IC Champion Finn Balor!

MJF and Bray Wyatt vs Finn Balor and John Morrison
{This is what Lethal Lottery is all about teams that normally would NEVER team are forced to be together! Finn Balor comes out first with Morrison the two are already arguing. As we see out next comes Bray Wyatt. MJF is the last to come out the curtain. He comes out wearing a "Hot-Rod" T-Shirt! MJF is getting the heat tonight! This match goes on for 10 minutes. We see Morrison and Balor are actually working well as a team. Bray and MJF have zero chemistry and end up butting heads over and over again! MJF nails Morrison with a Running Neckbreaker! Bray lays out Balor on the outside of the ring with Sister Abigail! MJF though has Morrison in trouble here. MJF goes in his tights and pulls out a pair of brass knucks! MJF catches Morrison in the mush with the knucks! MJF places the knucks in his tights but the referee was distracted with Bray on the outside of the ring! MJF is teasing his powerful right hand before making the cover 1......2......3!!!! MJF and Bray Wyatt are moving on!}
Gorilla: The injustice has just happened in Memphis tonight Jess!

{We head to ringside as out first comes The Miz and Eddie! They get a bunch of heat from the crowd. Out next comes Regal and Angle! This is a worker's dream team in Angle and Regal. They mat wrestle Miz and Kingston and keep them grounded and just beat them down! Regal is a tough wrestler and just out works and beats down Miz. Regal is stiff in the ring but showing all the tools to be the best! Regal makes a tag and Angle is beating down Miz and this match was never really in doubt. Eddie gets a tag but the veteran brawler just gets grounded and never gets a chance to show off! The Miz tags himself into the match but is instantly caught with an Angle Slam! 1......2.....3!! Angle and Regal are moving on to the Finale! Eddie Kingston helps Miz to his feet but then BACKHAND TO THE FUTURE! Eddie just flattens Miz and leaves him lying in the middle of the ring! Angle and Regal meet at the top of the ramp and Regal shows the respect to Angle.}
Gorilla: I have to say Eddie Kingston........Wait I have heard Eddie is hijacking an interview with Mean Gene!}
Eddie: Hey Miz, how about next time you actually show up for a match! That was the most pathetic excuse of a partna I have ever had. I am upset but I learned something from tonight and that is I can compete with these men. Sure, a lot of you reading this haven't heard of me but I trust you that if I ever get a chance. I will put this talent in the ground. Miz, I hope when you see this that you know that I am coming for you and that pretty boy John Morrison if he steps up. Mean Gene: Fans, I have to say that was some strong words by Eddie Kingston for sure. I wouldn't want to be The Miz that's for sure. Well, let's go ahead and see who our next participants are going to be. It's going to be Jake Roberts and Sami Zayn and their opponents! Oh my Lord! It's Drew McIntyre and John Cena! Jake Roberts and Sami Zayn vs Drew McIntyre and John Cena
{Talk about a mismesh of talent here! The System's Drew McIntyre is forced to team with the man that beat him just two weeks ago. Then on the otherside you have Sami don't call me crazy Zayn teaming with Jake Roberts and Damien! The match starts off with Drew allowing Cena to start things with Roberts! We get a nice start here! Drew is playing ball and actually shows that he is a good partner! Cena seems confused by this but after seeing he can trust Drew. Cena shows a different side and they are in full control of this match! Cena catches Sami flying off the top rope with a crossbody! Cena rolls through and places Sami on his shoulders! Cena plants Sami through the mat! Drew comes charging into the ring and CLAYMORE KICK TO JOHN CENA! Drew played John Cena like a fiddle tonight! This match went about 15 minutes but Drew turned on Cena and finished this match off! Drew has a smile on his face as he heads up the ramp! Cena is laid out as Sami looks confused and doesn't want to win this way but Jake asks for the tag instead. Sami makes the tag but isn't happy about this. Sami is heading up the ramp yelling at Drew. Jake though like a snake senses his chance. Jake picks up Cena and DDT! 1.......2......3!!!! Sami Zayn isn't happy but he is heading to the grand finale with Jake Roberts who isn't thrilled with the win but he knows this is his chance at the Finale and Bray Wyatt!}
Gorilla: John Cena, actually trusted The System and it ended up screwing him over.
Jesse: I can't believe that Cena was stupid enough to trust Drew McIntyre and The System.
Gorilla: Well the unlikely team of Jake Roberts and Sami Zayn will be moving on to The Grand Finale!
Jesse: We are now down to the final 8 superstars! I can't wait to see what tag matches are coming from these four teams.
Roman Reigns: Edge, I don't really have a lot to say. I feel very sorry for to come into this match. See, I know that you have all this hoopla around you but I want you to know that when you enter this ring tonight. It's going against The Man! That's exactly what I am! I am The Man! I showed the world years ago that ring is my yard now! Edge, you are just a little puppy coming into the yard of a big dog! Tonight, you are nothing but an example. Just look you have nobody to have your back. I have the entire backing of The System where you Edge.....you have NOBODY! You are going to learn that you are nothing more than a tiny ant and I am the big boot that is going SQUASH that little ant! Edge you may hate that fact but you have no choice but to accept it! So BELIEVE THAT!

Well it looks like The US Champion Shinsuke Nakamura will be teaming up with Jeff Hardy and they will be facing SCU's Kaz and his partner will be Rick Rude!

Shinsuke Nakamura and Jeff Hardy vs Kaz and Rick Rude
{Here we go! Nakamura comes out first and gets the crowd going with his entrance, next is his partner Jeff Hardy his brother Matt was eliminated earlier in the night but Jeff is looking to get a victory for his partner. Out next comes Rick Rude and he is making sure to show off his Tag Team Title! This brings out Kaz last as SCU's music is blasting! These four men meet in the middle of the ring! Nakamura is sure to place his title in the face of Rude who is showing off his tag title! This match starts with Kaz doing the work with Nakamura! It's a solid tag match. These two teams are beating the hell out of each other! Jeff Hardy is bringing out a side that we haven't seen before. He beats up Kaz and Rude is wanting into the ring but Nakamura and Jeff are keeping Kaz in the corner. The turn comes when Jeff gets thrown into the corner but Kaz moves out of the way when Jeff misses Whisper in the Wind! Kaz makes the hot tag and here comes Rude with massive right hands. He is working down Nakamura and Jeff as Rude is just too strong here. He works down Jeff who is taking one hell of a beating. He grabs Jeff and throws him into the corner but Nakamura gets a tag into the match. Rude never sees this tag. He throws Jeff into the ropes Rude throws a clothesline but Jeff dives under the legs of Rude and that is when Nakamura drops Rude with BOM-YE! 1......2.....3!!!! Nakamura and Jeff Hardy are moving on! The fans are going crazy! Jeff Hardy is playing up the crowd on the ramp as Nakamura is dancing with him!}
Gorilla: I can't believe it Jess! I thought Rick Rude had him there.
Jesse: In wrestling anything can happen! Rick Rude just learned that lesson.
Gorilla: Well we are down to the last four men and let's see who can make The Grand Finale!
Jesse: This is star studded Grand Finale. It's going to be next to impossible for any other promotion to even come close to this Main Event!
{We go to the back where Gene is at the tumbler. Gene is breaking down all the action we have seen when up to the scene comes Vince McMahon!}
VKM: Well, Gene I am glad that we have had ourselves one hell of a Pay Per View tonight. I am so proud of our roster and I think that The WWF has some of the greatest talent in wrestling today but I will have to say that I have seen some things in some superstars that I have never seen before. I was very impressed with the talent and I think that I might have some conversations with some talent about what could be next for their career.
Gene: Do you care to elaborate on that?
VKM: Don't you have the final names to pull out of the tumbler?
Gene: Well in any event. Let's go ahead and pull out our last four names here! The final men competiting in Lethal Lottery will be! Stunning Steve Austin and Dr.Death Steve Williams and they will face the team of the other half of MVC Terry Gordy and Scorpio Sky!

Steve Austin and Steve Williams vs Terry Gordy and Scorpio Sky
{Wow! Lethal Lottery has come up in a big way as the team of MVC are forced face off here. The only difference of them and other teams is MVC LOVES TO FIGHT! These two men have fought before and have no problem fighting again! Here comes Stunning Steve he comes out and shows off the half of the tag gold but that doesn't sit well with Williams who tells him to put the belt up and get ready to fight. Austin isn't taking kindly to Williams and the two are having words. Sky comes out next and joins his partner Gordy. They meet each other and the two actually form a good team. Williams and Austin are butting heads at every turn! We even get to the point where Austin tells Williams to shove it! This pisses off the other half of MVC as Gordy plants Austin with a boot right across his face! Gordy grabs Austin and POWERBOMB in the middle of the ring! Sky gets a tag and nails a FROG SPLASH! 1......2......3!!!! Gordy and Sky win and are moving to The Grand Finale! What an epic Main Event we have scheduled for The Grand Finale! After the match we see Austin is back to his feet and is screaming at Williams! This brings MVC back into the ring and they are going after Austin but here comes Rude and McIntyre! It was a damn set up! The System is leaving their marks as Gordy and Williams are getting a beatdown! The System leave the ring happy about their work as Gordy and Williams are getting checked on!}
Gorilla: It was a set-up! Who would have thought The System would be up to something like that Jess.
Jesse: Well MVC just learned that everybody has to answer to someone. They just answered to The System tonight!
Gorilla: Well in any case The Grand Finale is now set Jess and we are now on our way to crown The King of the Ring!
Jesse: If I was a betting man I would put everything I have on Lance Archer!

Nakamura is sure to place his title in the face of Rude who is showing off his tag title! This match starts with Kaz doing the work with Nakamura! It's a solid tag match. These two teams are beating the hell out of each other! Jeff Hardy is bringing out a side that we haven't seen before. He beats up Kaz and Rude is wanting into the ring but Nakamura and Jeff are keeping Kaz in the corner. The turn comes when Jeff gets thrown into the corner but Kaz moves out of the way when Jeff misses Whisper in the Wind! Kaz makes the hot tag and here comes Rude with massive right hands. He is working down Nakamura and Jeff as Rude is just too strong here. He works down Jeff who is taking one hell of a beating. Gary Hart is SPRINTING DOWN THE RAMP AND GRABS ARCHER UP THE RAMP! The fans are rocking as Hogan and Gary Hart are having words! Bret comes charging at Jeff but gets dumped over as well! They are both on the ring apron fighting but that is when AJ comes flying from the top rope! He nails both Jeff and Bret who were fighting on the apron and ELIMINATES THEM BOTH! AJ STYLES HAS WON THE KING OF THE RING! AJ Styles will challenge Roman Reigns at SummerSlam! Bret is fuming after the loss, and is blaming Jeff Hardy for his loss! Jeff is arguing back which brings down Matt Hardy to come to his brothers aid! Bret Hart seems to be making absolutely no friends in the WWF but in any matter. AJ Styles is The King of the Ring! We see the crowning happen!
