We are live via satellite to a picture of Eric Bischoff sitting at a podium in what is seemingly an empty building.
Bischoff: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for logging in and joining us for what is going to be a historic moment for wrestling fans both new and old. Not wasting any time here as I'm sure that many of you are currently watching this live stream in your offices on your lunch break, and I don't want to be getting anyone fired. The rumours you've heard are true! On June 2nd, 2020 Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment purchased the naming rights and tape library of World Championship Wrestling from Vince McMahon and the WWE. I am very proud to say, that effective immediately, WCW is back in the GWA Universe! My partner Jason Hervey is of course a majority owner along with myself, but I will be the figure head running WCW moving forward along with a booking committee of some of the most genius wrestling minds I have assembled to help run things backstage while also performing various roles on television. Without further adieu, please welcome my Executive Vice Presidents of Creative, Arn Anderson, Dustin Rhodes, Jim Cornette and Good 'Ol JR, Jim Ross!
Arn Anderson and Dustin Rhodes both make their way out from behind a curtain to take a seat to the left of Eric Bischoff, while Jim Ross and Jim Cornette both appear live via satellite.
Bischoff: At this current time, WCW does not have a television deal for any weekly broadcasts, but what I can announce is that on Friday, July 31st, WCW will be live on PPV for it's debut event "Bash at the Beach"! During this event, we will crown our inaugural WCW World Heavyweight and WCW Women's Champions. Starting of the broadcast we'll have a 10-women over the top rope Battle Royale with the winner of the match getting a shot later on in the night against WCW's #1 pick in the women's division draft, Tessa Blanchard!
Tessa's Blanchard's music is heard over the empty room as she walks in to view. She shakes hands with Bischoff, before taking a seat at the large table to his right.
Bischoff: As for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. We were very pleased to have assembled a large array of big name talents who were eager to come over to WCW as we try to not only revive the promotion, but become the flagship company in GWA. At this time, we have been able to secure contracts for the final World Champions of AEW, NWA, RoH and TNA before the GWA territory shook up various companies. At Bash at the Beach in our Main Event, we will pit each of these former champions in a Fatal 4-Way match in order to determine our first WCW World Champion! This match will see Moose taking on Rush, Nick Aldis and Jon Moxley for the opportunity to end Bash at the Beach as Champion!
The music of Jon Moxley hits, followed by Nick Aldis, then Moose as the three men make their way out to sit at the table alongside Tessa Blanchard.
Bischoff: Finally, as we enter in to a new age of techology in the wrestling industry, WCW promises to be one of the most socially interactive companies in the GWA Universe. That being said, along with the acquisition of The Young Bucks, we have also aquired the rights to their "Being the Elite" wrestling series. Additional matches for Bash at the Beach will be announced over the coming weeks as Being the Elite's Road to Bash at the Beach weekly webseries debuts every Tuesday, starting with our very first episode tomorrow, where we will announce 2 more matches for Bash at the Beach!
The Young Bucks come out and now sit at the table as well.
Bischoff: I'd like to thank you all for coming, now would be the time for questions if anyone has anything to say, the chat lines are now open!
(This is where you guys can get creative if you'd like. Comment some in character fan questions for anyone I've brought out and I'll answer them in character)

"Jon Moxley, have you put any thought into joining Seth Rollins' faction?"
"Matt and Nick, you're obviously one of the best tag teams presently going. Do you think there's anybody in WCW that could challenge you for the Tag Titles?"
"Moose how does it feel to be a part of WCW and to have an opportunity so early at the WCW Title itself?"
"Nick Aldis, you are regarded as one of the best in the game today. What are you looking forward to most in WCW?"

"Jon Moxley, what are your thoughts on WCW trading off Roman Reigns? Do you feel that WCW even tried to get him involved with the promotion?"
"Mr.Bischoff, with the NWA being a promotion is there going to be any sharing of PPV's that were considered NWA branded PPVs like Starrcade, Great American Bash or is NWA allowed to run those same events?"
"Tessa, you have been in a lot of promotions that have considered you trouble maker. What do you think of that label and do you think you are going to be able to make it work here in WCW?"
"Mr. Bischoff, are their any networks that you are going to try and consider. I've heard the WWF is working on a deal with the USA Network for their weekly show. Is there any networks that you want to try and reach out to?"
"This question is for anyone. What is the feeling on CM Punk? He has a long track record of upsetting others has any of you spoken with him and if so what are your thoughts on him."

"Mr. Aldis, how do you feel about this new opportunity with WCW after helping the National Wrestling Alliance reach the success it's had the last several years? Would you consider making an appearance or two for NWA down the road; would your contract permit such an arrangement?"
"Mr. Bischoff, what do you see being different about WCW this time around versus the first time?"
"Matt and Nick Jackson - many consider you to be part of the new generation of pro wrestling with your high-octane and aerial styles. What would you say to skeptics who make the argument that you're not cut out to represent the tag team division in the WCW brand?"

Eric Bischoff introduces "The Voice of WCW", Tony Schiavone before announcing that along with being a member of WCW's broadcast announce team, he will also mediate the Q&A portion of today's press confrence.mediate the Q&A portion of today's press confrence.
Schiavone: The first question come to us from Josh Spicer, and is for Jon Moxley. "Mox, have you put any thought into joining Seth Rollins' faction?" Moxley: **Laughs** Seth Rollins has been both a friend and an ememy of mine for long periods of our careers, and apparently now he see himself as some sort of Messiah to the wrestling world? Sounds a little corny to me. Besides, Seth seems to have his hands full right now with Buddy Murphy and Austin Theory following him around like a bunch of lost puppies, so I don't know if his head is in the right place, or if I'd be the right fit there right now. That being said though, Seth's my brother through thick and thin, and I've always sworn to have my brother's backs no matter what. I haven't said yes or no right now, but to answer your question, Yes I have put some thought in to Rollins' offer, but that's all I can say right now. Schiavone: The next question is for the Young Bucks. "Matt and Nick, you're obviously one of the best tag teams presently going. Do you think there's anybody in WCW that could challenge you for the Tag Titles?" Nick Jackson: Wow, that's a really good question! Matt Jackson: This guys here already thinks we're going to be the Tag Team Champions, I like this guy! Honestly though, we hope that we get ourselves in a postion that we get to challenge for the opportunity to be the first WCW Tag Team Champions, and this roster is just loaded with great tag teams. I can see MexiBlood or the Motor City Machine Guns being sort of dream matchs for us in WCW, those are some guys Nick and I would absolutely love an opportunity to face down the line, especially in a title match, I'm sure we could all do some great things together. Nick Jackson: Well said Matt. For me, it's got to be The Kingdom. Matt Taven and Mike Bennett are two guys we've worked with before, and guys that not only know how to get in done as a team, but have also had some sucess in the past as singles guys too. I see them as a real dark horse in the tag team division since neither of them have tagged in so long, most fan forget just about how good they really are together. Other than those guys, I think a match with The Revival would be a dream come true for just about everyone involved, but F the Revival man. Matt Jackson: Yeah, F the Revival! Schiavone: Next Question is for Moose. "How does it feel to be a part of WCW and to have an opportunity so early at the WCW Title itself?"
Moose: It's a normal day at the office for me. I was the TNA World Heavyweight Champion, the TNA we have today was so bad without me that it's already being rebranded less than a month in to it's existance! I was the real heart and soul of that company and I proved it by running through almost every former TNA Champion I could get in to the ring. At Bash at the Beach I'm just going to go out there and do what I've always done, which is to dominate the competition. These guys beside me stand no chance in the ring. Rush knows he's so outmatched he didn't even bother showing up to the press conference. In my opinion, already won, but to answer your question about how I feel, I think this is the place for me. WCW has a long and storied history, it's the place where Ron Simmons became the first African American World Heavyweight Champion, and I'm proud to now step in those same footsteps.
Schiavone: Alright, the next question is for Nick Aldis. "Nick, you are regarded as one of the best in the game today. What are you looking forward to most in WCW?" Aldis: Well, for starters I'm looking to make this clown over here look even stupider when he realizes that I'm going to be the one who walks out of Bash at the Beach your inaugural WCW Champion! You see, no one in this match has the track record that I've already achieved as a 2-time former NWA World Champion. I've held the highest accolaides at every single level of professional competition, and yet I was the last person selected in the GWA Territory Wars draft! That being said, I've spoken with Mr. Bischoff and I am extremely happy to have joined WCW, where I can once again make a name for myself in such a prestigious wrestling company against so many top level talents that I have yet had the opportunity to face in the ring. Of course, no one here is even close to my level though.
Schiavone: We've got another question here for Jon Moxley, this one from someone simply named King. "Jon Moxley, what are your thoughts on WCW trading off Roman Reigns? Do you feel that WCW even tried to get him involved with the promotion?"
Moxley: Just like with Seth, Roman is my brother. I'd love to have him here with me man, but business is business. I know Roman has always had a very close relationship with Mr. McMahon and he owes him a lot for what Vince did with Roman's career, so seeing what's going on over there in TNA or WWF, WWNA, whatever they want to call it, once Vince took over the "Reigns" so to speak, I think Roman leaving was inevitable. Am I bitter to see my friend go? Maybe a little, but we're all on different paths in our careers now, and I think it's best to keep The Shield as far away from each other as possible right now. Those days were great, but they're also in the past man.
Schiavone: We've finally got a question for you Eric! **Laughs** "Mr.Bischoff, with the NWA being a promotion is there going to be any sharing of PPV's that were considered NWA branded PPVs like Starrcade, Great American Bash or is NWA allowed to run those same events?"
Bischoff: Wow, we haven't even been in business for a full day yet and someone is already trying to start a promotion war already! I haven't had any talks with NWA right now. As it stands, WCW plans on using all the big name events that the company used in its prime, and that of course includes Starrcade, Great American Bash and Halloween Havoc. As far as I've been told, those PPV names were part of the rights that Jason Hervey and myself purchased when we bough WCW last month, but is NWA is looking to run the same events, there is always a possiblity that we can get something done to make things work. WCW was once a part of the NWA governing body, so down the line who can rule out some potential cross over partnerships?
Schiavone: We've got a questionn here for you Ms. Blanchard. "Tessa, you have been in a lot of promotions that have considered you trouble maker. What do you think of that label and do you think you are going to be able to make it work here in WCW?"
Blanchard: People tend to believe what they want to when it comes to all the stories floating around online. I've always claimed to be nothing more than what I said I am, which is a hard worker who has done what is needed to get to the top. WCW has a long history with my family and my father was very instrumental in helping me get through the door when some people thought my career my have been done. All I can really say is that I'm just going to go out there and prove that I'm the best woman in the business, and the best of luck to which ever woman win the Battle Royal at Bash at the Beach, because they're in for one hell of a fight if they think they have a chance at beating me for the WCW Women's Championship.
Schiavone: Another one for you Eric. "Mr. Bischoff, are their any networks that you are going to try and consider. I've heard the WWF is working on a deal with the USA Network for their weekly show. Is there any networks that you want to try and reach out to?"
Bischoff: We've had preliminary discussion with a few networks in regards to weekly programming, but the plan right now is to sit back and watch the competition to see what the best time slot is for us moving forward. I can't really say much more than that. Schiavone: "This question is for anyone. What is the feeling on CM Punk? He has a long track record of upsetting others has any of you spoken with him and if so what are your thoughts on him."
JR: I'd like to take this one if that okay Eric. I've known CM Punk, or Mr. Brooks as I like to refer to him for a number of years and although one may see him as "outspoken" or a "troublemaker" I've always known him to be someone who has a tremendous respect for the business and demands perfection from it, which is something that I admire greatly about Phil. Mr. Bischoff wasn't too familiar with Phil on a personal level, but the rest of us, Arn, Dustin and Jim Cornette have all had long working relationships with him, and I can honestly say that there wasn't a single one of us that didn't go to bat for Phil when his name was brought up as a potential superstar for this company. I can tell you that Eric, Arn and I had some long talks with Phil to see where his head was at and got him to sign a contract with WCW long before any formal announcement was made at the draft, so CM Punk is 100% on board with the company. That being said, there still needs to be some time for Phil to get himself back in the proper mindset as his vews on the business have soured due to some previous experiences, and I do not believe CM Punk will be a part of Bash at the Beach on July 31st, but I do believe we'll see him sooner than later in a WCW ring, open minded and ready to return to work where he is arguably one of the biggest names in professional wrestling history.
Schiavone: Well said JR! We've got another question here for Nick Aldis, this one from an S.Steiner. "Mr. Aldis, how do you feel about this new opportunity with WCW after helping the National Wrestling Alliance reach the success it's had the last several years? Would you consider making an appearance or two for NWA down the road; would your contract permit such an arrangement?"
Aldis: I believe it goes without saying that the reason NWA is still around is due in large part to the success I brought to the company during my time there. Like all good things, my stay in NWA had to come to end, but the company had every opportunity to pick my contract back up before WCW did, so the fault is on ownership, and their loss is now WCW's gain. This company to me has always been one of the more elite promotions with is storried history as I've already aluded to earlier, and I plan on doing for WCW what I had done for NWA during my time there. As for showing back up in NWA down the line, I'm not at liberty to discuss my contract, but if Eric Bischoff want to? No? Well we'll just have to leave the question with a "No Comment" for now. Schiavone: This is a another good one! "Mr. Bischoff, what do you see being different about WCW this time around versus the first time?"
Bischoff: We learn from our mistakes. This time around WCW plans to adapt and change with the times. Wrestling is not the same as it was in the 80's or the 90's, and we need to recognize that in order to maintain the interest of the fans. Another mistake we won't be making is allowing the locker room to dictate their positions in the company, which is why I made sure to have guys like Arn, Dustin and Jim here with me to help control the backstage environment. I believe the biggest change though is the ownership. WCW is owned and opperated by both myself and my business partner Jason Hervey. This time around the company is not owned by any broadcast station, which mean we are not at the mercy of anyone other than ourselves. I think that and not reapting the past will be the biggets differences that lead to success for the company this time around. Schiavone: This one is for the Young Bucks. "Matt and Nick Jackson, many consider you to be part of the new generation of pro wrestling with your high-octane and aerial styles. What would you say to skeptics who make the argument that you're not cut out to represent the tag team division in the WCW brand?"
Nick Jackson: What skeptics? Dash and Dawson?
Matt Jackson: If you're looking for old school wrestling, you should be following another promotion truthfully. Tag Team wrestling has struggled for so long under these big name companies while we've tried for years to re-invigorate it in the "indies" before really turning that spoltight on in AEW. I think if you look at WCW's tag team division now, there are at lot more guys like us here. Sure you've got you mix of old school tag wrestling and your lucha libra styles, but WCW clearly made a decision to move in a different direction both with their singles rosters and their tag team divisions, and I believe that's why we are standing here today as a part of that change.

Jon Moxley how does it feel to be the only AEW Champion not drafted to AEW? Does that drive you in any way to succeed here?
Matt and Nick Jackson you have been given the rights to "Being the Elite" what can we expect without the rest of the Elite being part of WCW?
Tessa you were the first Woman drafted by WCW... Does that put any pressure on you to be the top woman of the company?

Schiavone: Our final 3 questions come from a user named gkr1988 with the first directed to you Mox. "Jon Moxley how does it feel to be the only AEW Champion not drafted to AEW? Does that drive you in any way to succeed here?"
Moxley: I owe a lot to AEW, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed to not be sticking around there as I feel there is still a lot of unfinished business left for me there. AEW really helped revive a passion for this business that I had lost while in WWE, and I'll always be greatful for the short amount of time I spent there as well as in NJPW, but I'm all in with WCW now. Having to defend my AEW Championship against guys like Chris Jericho, Jake Hager and Brodie Lee defintely pushed me to a limit, but I think it's prepared me for when I go in to Bash at the Beach and beat these two clowns to become the first WCW World Champion!
Schiavone: Next question is for The Young Bucks. "Matt and Nick Jackson you have been given the rights to Being the Elite what can we expect without the rest of the Elite being part of WCW?"
Matt Jackson: Well, lets get one thing straight right away, we weren't given the rights to anything, we own Being the Elite.
Nick Jackson: That's right, we created it, if you remember correctly, so in reality we just took it with us.
Matt Jackson: As for the status of the show moving forward, the plan is to keep the name the same, but to use the weekly web programming in order further storylines for WCW and help get some of the lesser named talent over with the growing fanbase if they aren't in a position to get enough tv time in order to di it themselves.
Nick Jackson: Don't get me wrong, we'll miss Kenny, Cody and Page a ton. Those guys are our brothers, but we just need to get creative and move on. We managed when Adam Cole left, we managed when Marty Scurrll, I'm sure we can find a way to manage again.
Matt Jackson: Plus we've got the Macho Man! I mean, he's a hour's worth of content on his own!
Schiavone: Our final question of the evening is for Tessa Blanchard. "Tessa you were the first Woman drafted by WCW. Does that put any pressure on you to be the top woman of the company?"
Tessa: Pressure? That's a dumb question! I was the top woman in the company the moment my name was called with WCW's 1st round pick. I was chosen over both Becky Lynch AND Charlotte Flair, and if you recall earlier, the announcement was that a 10-Woman Battle Royal is happening at Bash at the Beach for the change to face ME at later in the night for the WCW Women's Championship! As far as I'm concerned, not only am I THEE top women in WCW, I'm the top woman in all of professional wrestling today! I'm a former IMPACT World Champion, how many other woman can say that? NONE!
With the final questions being answered. Tony Schiavone and Eric Bischoff both thank everyone for tuning in and everyone begins to leaves the conference area, and the feed fades to black. Suddenly the feed cuts back in quickly as we see an hour glass on the screen before the feed cuts out again for good.
(Guys, thank you so much for your participation. I didn't expect to get questions in from everyone, but I'm really happy you all chose to take part. Hopefully I'll be able to do more interactive stuff like this in the future. I'm really excited to get going with WCW as I think I'm the most motivated I've ever been!)
