News and Notes for May 7th 2021! - WCW coming back to the GWA has been seen as a shock to most. Especially when it was founded that Eric Bischoff was not going to the man behind the show and instead it was going to be Shane McMahon running the ship. It was been said that Shane bringing WCW back into the fray was not really a shock as Shane has been displeased in his spot at the WWE under their umbrella. It's said that Shane was very upset in Raw Underground being a MASSIVE flop, he was upset in being brought back for a Wrestlemania match with Braun Strowman inside of a steel cage and decided that he would do whatever it took to find himself back into the owner's chair where he feels deserves to be. Shane has wasted no time in bringing together a talent roster that he feels will change the entire landscape of professional wrestling.
- Speaking of changing the landscape it's already been said that with the rise of wrestling taking over the airwaves. WCW has already secured a multiyear deal with a television network to broadcast World Championship on a weekly basis. It is being said that WCW is going to start out this deal with a BANG!
- WCW is proud to announce that their very first card has already been signed off on and we are going to crown champions and not only that it will be broadcast on their Pay Per View Debut! The event will be called The Big Bang and it will come live from Chicago, Illinois in The Allstate Arena! The card is as follows.
