Episode 3: Getting Ready to Rumble
Denver, Colorado
Gorilla: Fans, what an eventful week it has been for The WWE Universe.
Bobby: You can say that again. It looks like Smackdown just couldn't handle the heat and now they are all out of jobs. I told you that Raw was the dominant brand.
Gorilla: You may just be right Bobby but I have heard from a very reliable source that this isn't the end of this war though. As we have a HUGE problem.
Bobby: Oh, I know exactly what you are talking about Monsoon. We have TWO World Champions.
Gorilla: That's correct we have TWO world Champions. In the words of the highlander...there can only be one...So who is going to be that one champion.
Jack Tunney: Now, I am sure what a lot of you are thinking here is ol' corrupt Jack Tunney to come out here and announce how he has screwed over talent but I am here tonight to tell you that all of that is in the past. I am out here tonight for one simple reason and that is to give you fans the best show that you can watch with your hard earned money. Now, I am sure that a lot of you are wondering how is that possible. Smackdown is cancelled, Raw now has an influx of talent. What can possibly happen....Well, I am going to put all of that to rest because in just a few short weeks we have one of the most exciting events coming up and that is The Royal Rumble. Now, I want to make something very very clear at The Royal Rumble the winner WILL Main Event Wrestlemania when they challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Now, I am sure that a lot of are wondering what are we going to do about that. Well, at The Royal Rumble we are going to have an unification match when John Cena will put up his Universal Championship and Chris Jericho will also put his WWE Championship and the winner of that epic contest will become The WWE World Heavyweight Champion! Now, I want to make sure that this match is fair. So in order to make sure we have a rightful champion. I am going to order that The Inner Circle is banned from ringside and anyone that interferes in this match will be automatically suspended for 60 days without pay. So this way we crown a true WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
I will also go ahead and announce that on the Raws leading to The Royal Rumble. We are going to keep the fans excited by crowning champions as The Main Event every week on Raw. So tonight's main event is going to be a special Tag Team Battle Royal where the last team standing is going to become The WWE World Tag Team Champions. Then next week we are going to have ourselves a Scramble Match to determine the United States Champion and on the final Raw before The Royal Rumble we are going to have a 1 on 1 championship match to crown The IC Champion! I hope that clears all the confusion and now let's head to ringside for a very exciting contest!

Eddie Guerrero vs Ken Kennedy
{An exciting opener here! Eddie is playing it cool in the early going here. The fans are solid behind him as you can tell he wants to show off for the crowd. Kennedy is a full blown heel though and just playing the crowd like a fiddle. Kennedy is taking the fight to Guerrero and they put on a competitive match here. They each get to shine and the crowd loves it! The finish comes quickly when Kennedy was going for The Green Bay Plunge but gets elbows to the side of the head till he falls over! Eddie looks around but before Eddie can please the crowd he is suddenly thrown off the turnbuckle and into the barricade by......}
{Kennedy plays it smart and rolls out of the ring and heads up the ramp. Roman is staring down Eddie who is trying to get to his feet but Roman is like a man possessed! He grabs Eddie and throws him hard into the steel steps. Eddie is trying to get to his feet but Roman is pissed off! He grabs Eddie and throws him onto the hood of his low rider! Roman looks around as the crowd is giving him HEAT! Roman tells the fans to shove it as he picks Eddie up and POWERBOMB ON THE HOOD OF THE LOWRIDER! Roman picks up Eddie by his head and just shakes his head before slamming Eddie on the arena floor! Roman heads up the ramp happy with his work and damage he just caused!}

{This match is just a complete massacre...Archer plants Powers with a multiple power moves, strong lariats, powerslams, and finally finishes off Powers with The Claw! Powers has passed out and it completely laid out. We see Archer gets the victory but after the match is when some fireworks happen. Archer is holding his arms but suddenly through the crowd it's MATT HARDY!}

{Archer wants to fight and so does Hardy. He leaps over the barricade and instantly grabs a chair. Archer though wants to fight one on one and suddenly leaves the ring as Matt is wildly swinging the chair after him! These two men want to fight and they will but not tonight though. Matt demands a microphone as Archer is heading up the ramp.}
Matt Hardy: LANCE ARCHER! You thought you could get rid of me that easy. I don't think you realize who you are in war with. Yes, I am a bit on the wild side but you need to understand that I am Stronger than Death! I will never die and I will never back down. Lance Archer, I am going to be apart of The Royal Rumble as well and I will be more than happy to throw you over the top rope. So Archer, I want you to know that I am going to hurt you. So bring out everything you have because what you don't understand is no matter what you do and how hard you knock me down. I will stand back up! I know that kills you down deep Lance but you need to understand that I am NOT going anywhere!

{We get a backstage segment with The Inner Circle they are going over what all they accomplished on Smackdown! They are bragging out tonight and saying they will have two shots to win The Tag Titles when Santana/Ortiz and Jack Swagger/Sammy Gueverra enter The Battle Royal Tonight. Chris Jericho who is now calling himself "Le Champion" says that tonight he is going to the ring and he is going to call out John Cena and see if has the actual guts to show up!}

{HBK comes out to a hero's welcome! The fans love them some HBK and he plays that up to the fan's delight. HBK takes the fight to Percy Watson and picks up the victory after a Sweet Chin Music but that is when HBK leaves the ring for a quick interview with Bobby Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon!}

Owens puts on a solid showing and then drops Epico with The Package Piledriver and puts him away for good. 1.....2....3!! Kevin Owens picks up the big victory before grabbing a microphone.}

You come out here and tell all of these people you are going to win The Royal Rumble....Well....that's going to be a hard thing for you to do because everybody knows that The Hot-Rod is going to win The Royal Rumble and back to Wrestlemania in The Main Event....cause incase you forgot I have already been there before and if it wasn't for my partner....I would have won the damn thing....

{Owens is starting to get pissed as Macho and Piper are starting to exchange words but as they are going at it with arguing. Owens leaves the ring and you can tell he is upset about being interrupted two times already. As Owens is heading up the ramp though suddenly we hear IF YA SMELLLLLLL!!!! IT'S THE ROCK! Owens turns around and is in complete shock as at the top of the ramp is The Rock!}
The Rock: Whoa....Whoa....Whoa....where are you going Kevin, I thought you were the big badass on the block...I thought you were the man who was going to win The Royal Rumble but how can you win The Royal Rumble when you aren't even man enough to stand in that ring with two of the greatest ever....but let's get this straight first and foremost because at The Royal Rumble it is going to be the biggest night in the history of The WWE. It's going to have a list of superstars all vying for that one shot....for that one spot...it's a spot that The Great One has been in before much like The Macho Man....much like The Hot-Rod....It's all about headlining The Biggest Event of the Year...It's all about becoing The WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Now, Kevin I respect your hustle and I respect that you want to take this company by the balls but you need to understand that in order for you to win The Royal Rumble you are going to have to beat 29 other men....you have already seen two of them and well the third is staring you in the face right now....The Royal Rumble is going to be won by one man and that man is.......
{WOOOOOO!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! RIC FLAIR! The fans are popping as The Rock looks upset that he was just cut off! Ric Flair comes out dripping in style custom made suit, snake skin shoes, rolex, gold chain....Ric Flair is drippin' and not afraid to show it!}
Ric Flair: Look, I wasn't going to come out here but then I heard The Rock running his mouth and he kept mentioning The Man....Well Pal, everybody knows that this company has ONE man....and you are looking at him! I am The Nature Boy, I am the innovator of style, I am the best to ever grace the squared circle. I have a history with all you men especially you two standing in that ring. Macho, the way I see it we aren't finished with what we started a while ago and trust me when I say that your old lady still won't stop blowing up my phone. Piper, I hate you more than almost anyone on this planet...we have been through wars and let me tell you something you get in my way. I will have no issues tossing you over the top rope. Kevin, I know you came out here to have your match and speak your mind but you just opened the door for all this....So you need to ask yourself what's causin' all this and it's only one thing and you are looking at him. Now, onto you Rocky....
The Rock: Let me stop you right there...Ric Flair....you are a legend....you are a man....
Ric Flair: Let me just stop you right there kid. I am not a man...I am THE MAN....
The Rock: I don't know who you think you are speaking too but The Rock is not a child....The Rock is the biggest superstar that this company has ever seen. The Rock has sold out hollywood....
Ric Flair: You got it right in that you sold out! Let's get this clear right here and right now. You might have done great in hollywood. You might have made a bunch of money but none of that matters when you step inside of that ring. At The Royal Rumble...One man and is going to stand tall and you are all looking at him! WOOOOOO!!!!!!!
{The segment comes to a close with The Rock/Ric Flair staring each other down as Piper and Macho are still arguing and Owens is still pissed that his moment was taken from him!}

Mean Gene: Welcome back to Monday Night Raw fans… I wanted to remind you to get on the horn and call your local cable operators for the Royal Rumble in three weeks as it will be the biggest Royal Rumble in history… with 40 men being involved. Some of the names we already know…but now at this time let me bring in a man who is going to be challenging for The WWE Championship at The Royal Rumble...A man that needs no introduction get on in here....JOHN CENA!
John Cena: Gene, it's an honor to share this moment with you but let's get something very clear. I have already heard that The Inner Circle is going to call me out.....well they should all know that I do things a little bit different. So instead of waiting...I think I am going to go ahead and head to the ring and see what they want....what do you think Gene....
Gene: John, I think it's wortha shot....well let's head to ringside where John Cena is heading to right now.
{John brings the camera alongside him as he heads through the gorilla position and leads the camera down the ramp. Cena is now in the ring and the fans are going crazy.}
John Cena: Yo, Yo, Yo, let's make some noise!!!
{The fans are going crazy!}
John Cena: Look I know that Chris Jericho and his inner circle jerk....whoops....I mean his friends are going to want to make an example out of me. I know that Chris, and his "friends" are wanting to call me out....So I decided that I would just beat them to the punch and just say if you plan on beating me up....well...I am going down fighting so come on out here and let's do the damn thing!
{Judas! blasts out the PA System! The fans are loud and excited as out of the curtain comes Chris Jericho and he has The Inner Circle right behind him. Cena has already put his title down on the mat. He has thrown his shirt into the crowd. Cena wants to fight but Jericho though isn't coming down any further.}
Chris Jericho: John, just calm down....you see if I wanted to take you out. I would have had my Inner Circle go ahead and take you out. Also I heard your stupid joke and I will let that one slide this one time but what I will do is at The Royal Rumble I will make you pay for that joke. Which is exactly what you are John. I mean for the past 10 years you have been running the same shit...and quite frankly it pisses me off. You come out here to the same theme song, you wear the same stupid clothes, you wear JORTS....yet somehow you claim to be the very best in this business, but you see that is where I draw the line because you are not the best in this sport, you are not the best in WWE, you aren't even the best person out here right now. Everybody knows that "Le Champion" is the best to do it and at The Royal Rumble I will prove exactly that. I am not afraid of anybody in this sport.
John Cena: You know Chris, you come out here and insult me then you say that you aren't afraid of anyone in this sport but weren't you the same man who had his goons take out Hulk Hogan just so you could snake your way into getting that championship in the first place.
Jericho goes to speak but Sammy Guevara takes the microphone.}
Sammy: Where the hell do you get off speaking to "Le Champion" like that. Also way to throw out rumors John. That was never proven we were behind that attack.
John Cena: Who the hell are you? Incase you don't know who you are speaking to...I am the golden shovel in the WWE and I will bury you if you speak out of line again.
Jericho: Now, hold on a second....John I was going to be peaceful but you don't ever speak to a SPANISH GOD like that.....Infact I was going to just talk this out but it's obious you want to fight and well....we are happy to kick your ass!
{The Inner Circle and Jericho head down the ramp and they surround the ring! Cena is looking ready to fight but that is when here comes THE NEW DAY! They are evening up the numbers here! The Inner Circle and Jericho see this and they start the retreat! Cena makes a lunge at Jericho but Sammy takes the bullet for him and goes crashing down to the outside! Jericho is screaming while holding Sammy! The New Day and Cena want to continue the fight but Jericho is acting like Sammy has taken the bullet for him and leads his Inner Circle up the ramp! Jericho finds a microphone!}
Chris Jericho: JOHN CENA! I SWEAR IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO! YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS! YOU JUST HIT A SPANISH GOD IN THE FACE!!!!!

The New Day(Big E and Kofi Kingston) vs Santana and Ortiz vs Hagar/Guevara vs MVC vs The Colons vs The Lucha Bros vs The Hart Dynasty vs Harlem Heat vs RVD/Tommy Dreamer
{This match is just pure chaos! Everyman is fighting with one another and it's just a complete mess! We see The Inner Circle working as a group as they quickly eliminate The Colons and send them packing early in this match. We see the team of Dreamer/RVD is looking good as they are fighting it out with The MVC! It's a complete mess as everyone is just fighting and the action is fast and furious. The teams are all fighting and the eliminations start coming up faster as teams like Harlem Heat, The Hart Dynasty and Rob Van Dam and Tommy are gone as well. It's not until we are left with The Inner Circle having both teams, The New Day and MVC that are left. Xavier is playing the trombone trying to get his partners hyped up! It's complete chaos still as everyone is fighting for those titles. The fans pop when Williams Press Slams Sammy over the top to the floor! The Inner Circle is shocked but here comes Hagar! He runs at Williams and tosses him over the top rope but when he turns around it's to a big boot by Gordy that sends Jake flying over the top rope! Santana and Ortiz are quick to attack though and Gordy is sent over the top rope to the floor! This is a battle here. We see a lot of near eliminations as both teams are doing whatever they can to win these titles! Santana finally sends his partner Ortiz flying with an assisted Cannonball in the corner! Ortiz flips around though and is instantly clotheslined over the top rope by Big E! Santana is all that's left! Kofi is still out on the outside of the ring as Big E turns around and throws Santana over the top rope to the floor! The New Day have upset The Inner Circle and walked out with The Tag Titles!}
